Telly's 50th Birthday Celebration

Telly poses with her husband, Francis G. Dakila, Jr.
Ella Oplas shared with us this photos taken during Telly's 50th Birthday Celebration.
"Am very  happy to share with you photos taken during Ninang Telly's 50th birthday party at Dragon Gate Restaurant along Roxas Boulevard. (March 17, 2005) .It was an intimate lunch with La Salle friends specifically her Social Development Research Center circle."

Ella recalls  " I can still remember what Ninang told me before the party.  She said, "Ells, 50 na ako... naku tanda ko na!".  I told her that she doesn't look like in her 50s. She just gave me a big smile after."

About Me

My photo
I am, Angel (Luli) as fondly called by Telly. Telly was my childhood classmate and friend. We spent 12 years of our formative childhood and adolescent High School years at St. Theresa's College, Manila. I am awed and blessed to meet her true friends and loved ones. As we read more and more from what they share, we come to know more about her and the legacy of her contributions to society including her hopes and aspirations for economic development. Those who truly know Telly will appreciate the kind of work and many accomplishments she did. Her husband, Francis, on the Eulogy night for Telly, set aside unselfishly the focus on self (as a grieving husband for the loss of a wife). Instead he talked about how the death of Telly was a loss to the Intellect and Society at large. The impact of the loss is felt even in the international community. I invite you to write your tribute, share your sentiments/feelings for Telly and send any related post about her-- pictures, articles are welcome. ( Email address: forloveoftelly@gmail.com). I will make sure they are posted here for all of us to draw inspiration.
