Farewell to a dear, dear soul, Telly!

First of all i would like to extend my sympathy and condolences to her family and especially to her husband.

I haven't seen nor heard of Cristela (as I have fondly called her when we were still at grade school and high school at STC Manila) for almost 40 years.  It was only now that I've heard of her demise when i opened my e-mail thru courtesy of Angel-Luli. I thank her for this.

Cristela was such good and wonderful person.  She was always there to help me (I remembered) when i was struggling with our assignment. She was one of the intelligent classmates I've ever known apart from  all my other classmates who are clever intelligent and smart in their own ways really. It's just too bad  I haven't get to see her for all these years but when i saw her photos and the photos and my other classmates around her no doubt she had enjoyed her life to the full.

Goodbye to you Cristela. May you rest in peace with our Lord.

Lots of love
Violy

About Me

My photo
I am, Angel (Luli) as fondly called by Telly. Telly was my childhood classmate and friend. We spent 12 years of our formative childhood and adolescent High School years at St. Theresa's College, Manila. I am awed and blessed to meet her true friends and loved ones. As we read more and more from what they share, we come to know more about her and the legacy of her contributions to society including her hopes and aspirations for economic development. Those who truly know Telly will appreciate the kind of work and many accomplishments she did. Her husband, Francis, on the Eulogy night for Telly, set aside unselfishly the focus on self (as a grieving husband for the loss of a wife). Instead he talked about how the death of Telly was a loss to the Intellect and Society at large. The impact of the loss is felt even in the international community. I invite you to write your tribute, share your sentiments/feelings for Telly and send any related post about her-- pictures, articles are welcome. ( Email address: forloveoftelly@gmail.com). I will make sure they are posted here for all of us to draw inspiration.
