Rest Happily

Caryl Goce Tena (Niece)
We might not be as close as we wanted to be. We might not had many precious moments together in your lifetime but I have the most precious memory of you--the Ate Telly I admired my very inspiration.

Since I was a kid you were whom Papa and Inay and the rest of the family would talk about when it comes to diligence and intelligence. In studies and achievements you were the on top of their list of role models for us their children. Yes indeed you were one of the best in the family!

As I recall you once told me you were happy for me having beautiful children and a good family even at such a young age. Yes I have your wits because I have Aris... I was so delighted that you share this happiness with me. Nonetheless I was challenged to fulfill  the dream to be like you to do good and give my best shot in my studies and career and be very happy and positive in life.

Ate Telly we are so blessed and thankful that the Lord shared you with us let you touch our lives let you be our sunshine--the inspiration of strength and courage.

We are so lucky we had you...
We will miss you...
Thank you.... rest happily!

About Me

My photo
I am, Angel (Luli) as fondly called by Telly. Telly was my childhood classmate and friend. We spent 12 years of our formative childhood and adolescent High School years at St. Theresa's College, Manila. I am awed and blessed to meet her true friends and loved ones. As we read more and more from what they share, we come to know more about her and the legacy of her contributions to society including her hopes and aspirations for economic development. Those who truly know Telly will appreciate the kind of work and many accomplishments she did. Her husband, Francis, on the Eulogy night for Telly, set aside unselfishly the focus on self (as a grieving husband for the loss of a wife). Instead he talked about how the death of Telly was a loss to the Intellect and Society at large. The impact of the loss is felt even in the international community. I invite you to write your tribute, share your sentiments/feelings for Telly and send any related post about her-- pictures, articles are welcome. ( Email address: forloveoftelly@gmail.com). I will make sure they are posted here for all of us to draw inspiration.
